Wadda Vincent

Vincent is a laboratory technician in the Department of Medicine at Makerere University, where he brings extensive expertise to the Ocular AI project. Vincent applies his technical skills in medical laboratory sciences and plays an essential role in integrating AI-driven diagnostic technologies aimed at enhancing accuracy, speed, and accessibility in disease detection.

His contributions support the advancement of machine learning algorithms that analyze pathological data, enabling early and accurate detection of diseases that heavily impact Uganda and other low- and middle-income countries. Vincent holds a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
